Wicketkeeper Gerard Brophy and veteran all-rounder Craig White have agreed new contract extensions at Headingley.
Brophy and White agree new Headingley deals
Yorkshire have received a boost with wicketkeeper Gerard Brophy and veteran all-rounder Craig White signing new contracts at the club.
Brophy, 31, has signed a two-year deal with the option of a third year while White, 37, has penned a 12-month contract. Both players' existing deals were due to expire at the end of the season.
Welcoming his new deal, White, who made his Yorkshire debut in 1990, told the county's official website: "I'm delighted to be staying at Yorkshire for another year.
"I'm proud that the club has honoured my services with a new deal. As for the future, I'll play it by ear and see how it goes.
"At the moment I'm just really pleased with the direction the club is going in and I'm happy to be part of it."
Excited
Opening bat White, who has played 30 Tests for England, has been in fine form with the bat this season, scoring 430 first-class runs at an average of 30.17.
Brophy has put last year's disappointing debut season behind him, taking 32 catches and three stumpings this time up, as well as scoring runs with the bat.
He said: "I'm extremely excited about the new two year deal. It's been good to be involved in the club's success this season and hopefully I can be part of a team that goes from strength to strength over the coming years."
