Left-arm spinner leaves Derbyshire

Derbyshire have acceded to Nayan Doshi's request to be released from his contract. The left-arm spinner, 29 , joined from Surrey at the start of the season along with Rikki Clarke, whose spell at the county was also shortlived. "Following Nayan's request to be released from his contract, this is the best solution for both parties. I wish him all the best for his future career," said Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris. Doshi picked up just 13 wickets during his nine first-class appearances for Derbyshire.
