Derbyshire have made their second signing in the space of seven days after acquiring the services of pace bowler Tim Groenewald.

Derbyshire have made their second signing in the space of seven days after acquiring the services of South African pace bowler Tim Groenewald from Warwickshire. The 24-year-old, who is English-qualified, is Derbyshire's second signing since the end of the 2008 season, following the acquisition of batsman Garry Park from Durham. Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris said: "I am delighted to have added to our squad with a talented cricketer who, like Garry Park, is of a good age with plenty of improvement left in him. "Tim is an ambitious cricketer who adds depth to our seam attack as well as being a dynamic talent with the bat."
