Essex all-rounder Graham Napier enjoyed a Monday night he will never forget this week as he conjured the extraordinary feat of taking four wickets in four balls.
Napier is no stranger to producing heroics in front of the
Sky Sports cameras - it was on the same ground five years ago that he bludgeoned an incredible 152 not out in a 20-over fixture against Sussex.
This time Surrey were victims as he ripped through their batting line-up to guide his side to a 178-run victory, eventually finishing with sensational figures of 7-32.
After clean bowling Jason Roy (2) and Ricky Ponting (2) in his opening spell, Napier returned to remove Azhar Mahmood (36), Zander de Bruyn (0), Tom Newell (0) and Jon Lewis (0) in successive balls in an incredible 25th over of the reply.
