Michael van Gerwen averaged 111.05 as he put on a darting masterclass to thrash Kim Huybrechts 16-4 in the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts.
Van Gerwen will now face Michael Smith in the semi-finals after the youngster bruised his way past Adrian Lewis 16-11.
But it was a night that will be remembered for Van Gerwen's ridiculous level of performance - the word unplayable barely doing it justice.
The first five legs of the match were arguably the greatest five legs of darts ever seen at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
Van Gerwen opened up with a 135 checkout before following that up with an equally impressive 112 finish.
Huybrechts was stunned and could only watch on as Van Gerwen produced an 11-dart leg, roaring into a 3-0 lead in less than five minutes of action.
Somehow, Huybrechts responded to the onslaught by taking out a sensational 141 checkout but it was just a brief reprieve as Van Gerwen took out 81 and went into the first break holding a 122.02 average.
From there it was mostly one-way traffic, with MVG hitting 12 180s on his way to a stunning victory.
Earlier in the evening, Smith took advantage of a lacklustre Lewis, who averaged 98.02 but only could register a woeful 26 per cent double average.
The pair hit 18 180s between them but it Smith who always had his nose in front.
He raced into a 7-2 lead as Lewis struggled to make the most of his bulky scoring. 'Jackpot' did find his stride after the second break and got to within one leg at 9-8 but Smith showed maturity above his young years to break back straight away.
The former World Youth Champion kept his nerve despite missing nine doubles for the match and sealed the win with double ten and reach his first major ranking semi-final.
