Wayne Riley goes behind the scenes at the loudest hole in golf - the 16th at TPC Scottsdale - and Ian Poulter explains why it is so 'tricky'.

Wayne Riley went behind the scenes at TPC Scottsdale and found Ian Poulter, and 15,000 fans, enjoying the unique atmosphere of the 16th hole.

The par-three has long been renowned as the loudest hole in world golf, with packed grandstands surrounding the entire length of the hole and the raucous spectators ready to give their verdict on each and every shot.

Anything hitting the green and coming to rest within 20 feet of the flag is rewarded with appreciative cheers, but the chorus of boos greeting wayward tee shots can be heard around most of the course.

Radar took a closer look during Wednesday's pro-am day and was on the tee as Poulter hit his shot with RUN DMC's "It's Tricky" blaring out of the speakers, and the Ryder Cup legend admitted the song title was perfectly appropriate in terms of the daunting challenge the players face.
