Ryder Cup star on the brink of first victory after round of 63

American Rickie Fowler will take a four stroke lead into the final round of the Korea Open after firing a 63 on Saturday. The Ryder Cup star, who is still without a win on the PGA Tour, burst out of a five-way tie for the lead overnight with an eight-under-par round. Fowler is now 13-under for the tournament with defending champion YE Yang leading the chasers after a 67, alongside fellow South Korean Kim Meen-whee. Rory McIlroy was one of those in a share of the lead at halfway but he struggled to a two-over 73, leaving him 10 shots off the pace. A nightmare run of four bogeys and one double bogey between the 9th and 16th holes all but rules out the prospect of the Northern Irishman improving on his third-place finish in 2009. "It's long been a dream of mine to win a professional title," Fowler said. "I want to take the opportunity that I have at the moment."
