Late woe for Woods leaves him in fourth spot
Brett Wetterich holds a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston.
The big-hitting American carded a round of 66, including an eagle at the fifth, to finish the third day on 13-under at the second event of the FedEx Cup play-off series.
Arron Oberholser stands alone in second with Phil Mickelson a further shot adrift in third.
Tiger Woods is still in contention after a 67 left him in fourth spot, alongside Aaron Baddeley, though it could have been even better for the world number one.
Poor finish
He briefly moved into a share of the lead before dropping back due to a bad finish, a bogey at 17 being followed up by missed birdie opportunity at the par-five last.
"I'm not very happy right now," Woods said afterwards.
"I just threw away a good round of golf. It was going well and I need to continue making birdies."
He will partner Mickelson, who shot a steady round of 68, in the second-to-last group out on the final day.
Sergio Garcia is the top European, a 68 leaving him in six shots back of the pace and in a seven-way tie for 14th.
After managing a 66 on Saturday Luke Donald could only manage a 73 that leaves him well adrift on two-under.
