In-form Victorian takes home Kirkwood Cup for a fourth time
Robert Allenby made it two wins in as many weeks as he triumphed in the Australian PGA Championship for a fourth time.
Having started his final round with a one-shot cushion, the Australian eased to a four-shot victory thanks to a second successive round of 66.
John Senden and Scott Strange were tied for second on 10-under after rounds of 67 and 69 respectively, while Marc Leishman was a shot further back in third.
Allenby's success at the Hyatt Regency course in Queensland follows on from him lifting the Sun City Challenge in South Africa last week.
No blemishes
The 38-year-old, who carded five birdies with no blemishes on his card on Sunday, had previously claimed the Kirkwood Cup in 2000, 2001 and 2005.
"When you start with the lead all you have to do is to hold it and don't do anything stupid," Allenby said afterwards.
"I did what I had to do from the first hole to the last hole.
"I had some very, very tough competitors behind me and I had a lot of respect for them. So I tried to just pace myself, I tried to hit as many fairways as I could, I tried to hit as many greens as I could.
"That's what I did all day, I just felt totally in control on every shot."
Allenby finally moved himself clear of the chasing pack with his third birdie of the day at the par-five 12th.
Comfortable cushion
He gave himself a comfortable cushion by picking up further shots at the 15th and 17th, allowing him to relax going down the final hole.
"It's a nice feeling to win in that fashion," added the Victorian. "It's always nice to come down the last with a four-shot lead.
"I was pretty consistent but to do it under the gun in the final round, that's pretty special."
Defending champion Geoff Ogilvy ended up in the top 10 after a final round of 71, while John Daly finished his week's work by signing for a score of 72.
