Sebastien Loeb looks set to extend his lead at the top of the World Rally Championship standings after dominating the second day of Rallye Deutschland.
The Frenchman heads into the final day with a 35.7-second advantage after winning three stages of the German event on Saturday.
Citroen team-mate Dani Sordo, who was within 10 seconds of Loeb after the first leg of the rally, still lies in second position after also taking victory in three stages.
Petter Solberg won the day's two remaining stages but trails in fifth place, behind Citroen junior driver Sebastien Ogier and Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala.
Latvala, the highest placed non-Citroen runner, is almost two-and-a-half minutes behind Loeb and looks highly unlikely to mount a challenge for victory.
Loeb currently has a 48-point lead over Ogier in the championship standings, an advantage he can make even more commanding if he closes out an eighth consecutive Rallye Deutschland victory on Sunday.
"It's going very well. I will only try to defend my position," the six-time WRC champion said.
Former Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen climbed into sixth position after Francois Duval crashed out on the final stage of the day, with Britain's Matthew Wilson moving into seventh.
