In five previous attempts, the 29-year-old Frenchman's highest finish is 11th but he arrives in Wales for Thursday's start full of confidence.
En route to clinching the world title, Ogier has won eight of the 12 rallies already held during 2013 - and 14 in all.
Ogier's Volkswagen team have also secured the manufacturers' title, which means he is completely relaxed as he heads to the start line at Conwy Quay.
The 22-stage Wales Rally starts on Thursday evening and runs until Sunday.
And Ogier said in a statement: "I am sure we will enjoy the Rally Great Britain, as it is the first event of the season where we do not feel any pressure at all.
"No tactics, just full throttle from the word go.
"The rally has never been my favourite but with more and more experience my confidence to approach this rally is growing.
"Some features are not very welcoming: low temperatures, rain, fog and muddy roads through the Welsh forests.
"I know that this sounds like 'rally paradise' for my team-mates - and I have to agree with them.
"There is probably no better way to end a rally season with a win in Wales. So that's my goal."
