WWE Raw results: The Undertaker agrees to fight Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31

Randy Orton stops being nice to Seth Rollins, in gruesome style

Last Updated: 10/03/15 3:04pm

The Undertaker will be at WrestleMania 31 after accepting Bray Wyatt’s challenge to a match during a pulsating edition of Raw.

WRESTLEMANIA 31

Live on Sky Sports Box Office
Midnight, Sunday, March 29

Wyatt has been trying to lure The Deadman, whose unbeaten streak at The Show of Shows was ended in 2014 by Brock Lesnar, into a showdown in Santa Clara on March 29, even burning a coffin to grab the legend’s attention.

And The Undertaker finally responded to The Eater of Worlds on Monday Night Raw, raising smoke from his famous urn while Wyatt had it in his grasp and then setting The New Face of Fear’s rocking chair on fire to signal he was ready to rumble.

Randy Orton, meanwhile, was spoiling for a fight on Raw but only at the very end of the show when he left Seth Rollins high and dry before attacking The Aerialist in brutal fashion.

The Viper had seemingly moved past Rollins Curb Stomping him onto the steel steps at the backend of 2014 and costing him three months of his career - but he hadn’t.

Orton bailed on his tag-team partner in Monday’s handicap bout against Roman Reigns, allowing Reigns to pin Mr Money in the bank following a Spear, but worse was to come for Rollins when Orton’s vicious assault ended with him getting an RKO through the announce desk.

Randy Orton finally turned his back on Seth Rollins on Raw, dropping The Aerialist with a steel chair and an RKO onto the announce table.

Orton and Rollins could now be on course for a collision at WrestleMania and the card for said event continues to swell, with John Cena versus Rusev for the United States Title now confirmed.

Encounter

Rusev had previously rejected Cena’s pleas for a match on the grandest stage of all but The Bulgarian Brute’s manager, Lana, accepted on his behalf after The Cenation Leader placed him in an STF and refused to let go.

Cena’s onslaught came after Rusev had successfully defended the United States Championship against Curtis Axel and the Intercontinental Title was also a focal point when Raw hit Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Reigning champion Bad News Barrett was conquered by Daniel Bryan in a non-title scuffle, while Dean Ambrose beat Stardust in an encounter between two men hoping to exit WrestleMania with Barrett’s belt.

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd’s WWE Tag Team Titles may be on the line at ‘Mania, too, and The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Big E could be the Superstars to fight for them after downing the current champions on Monday evening.

Kidd’s evening descended further when he distracted his wife, Natalya, long enough for Naomi to pin the Canadian with Rear View, while, in the second Divas match of the night, AJ Lee submitted Summer Rae with The Black Widow.

Plus, Los Matadores knocked off The Usos; Ryback and Erick Rowan bested Kane and Big Show; and Paul Heyman had a message for Reigns – he WILL NOT be beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
