The Drone Racing League will return tonight, live on Sky Sports Mix, and features 16 of the world's greatest drone racers battling it out to be crowned the World's Greatest Drone Racing Pilot over six races.
The sport is known for its unpredictable and exciting nature as virtual meets reality in a fast-paced competition where good hand-eye coordination and composure in tense moments are a necessity.
Pilots from all walks of life are preparing to race in six cities around the world with the final taking place at London's Alexandra Palace.
The sport, which could eventually become part of the Olympics, can be tried by those interested via a simulator and maintains a strong appeal through its spectacular crashes.
