Joel Embiid continued his dominant run of form scoring 35 points and pulling down 18 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Miami Heat 124-114.
It was the ninth time this season that Cameroonian center had at least 30 points and 10 rebounds in a game. No other player in the NBA has more than three.
In 35 minutes of play, Embiid shot 8-of-15 (53.3 per cent), including making three of his four three-point shots. He went to the free throw line 20 times, making 16 of his shots.
Embiid opened his account with a first-quarter three-pointer before posting up Heat defender Bam Adebayo and draining a sweet turnaround jump shot.
A cross-court pass to set up a JJ Redick three followed before Embiid splashed another three-ball in the final minute of the second quarter.
In the third quarter, the Sixers center unfurled a spin move to the hoop for an easy deuce then stroked home a fourth-quarter jumper over rival big man Hassan Whiteside. With two minutes remaining, he made another three-pointer from the top of the arc to seal the 76ers victory.
