Russell Wilson starred for Team Irvin with three touchdown passes to wrap up a 49-27 Pro Bowl victory over Team Rice.
Aloha Stadium in Hawaii was the venue for those not involved in the Super Bowl showdown between Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos and Wilson, who featured in each of the last two end of season finales, took full advantage of the exhibition nature of proceedings.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback was Hall of Fame receiver Irvin's first pick and he justified that faith by throwing for touchdowns to Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley in the first half as they led 28-14 at the break.
Wilson competed eight of 12 passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns, and he was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston and Minnesota Vikings Teddy Bridgewater ensured it was the quarterbacks who took the headlines - throwing for two touchdowns apiece as Irvin's offence proved too strong for Team Rice.
With Peyton Manning's focus on Levi's Stadium and Super Bowl 50, his younger brother Eli was the leading light for Rice's selections although six interceptions by Team Irvin ensured their defence played their part in what was in the end a comfortable victory.
Giants quarterback Eli and the Raiders David Carr each found Kansas tight end Travis Kelce in the first half before Irvin's selection eased to victory, winning the final two periods 21-13.
