Baltimore Ravens re-sign Justin Forsett after Saturday release

Running back Justin Forsett has re-signed with the Baltimore Ravens just two days after being released by the franchise.
Forsett was left as the odd man out on Saturday, when the Ravens had to cut their roster to 53 players, but he is now back with Baltimore after they placed two players on injured reserve.
The 30-year-old had seemed likely to begin the season as Baltimore's starter, but he was outplayed by Terrance West in pre-season and it remains to be seen how their roles will play out, along with Javorius Allen.
All three could eventually end up being replaced by rookie Kenneth Dixon, although he is set to miss the first four weeks with a knee injury.
Details of Forsett's new contract with the Ravens have not been made public - he had been due to start the second year of a three-year $9m (£6.7m) pact before being cut.
Baltimore have also confirmed the signing of wide receiver/kick return specialist Devin Hester after opening up two spots on their roster.
Safety Matt Elam and defensive tackle Carl Davis have been placed on injured reserve with a designation to return later in the season.
