The Green Bay Packers have signed centre Corey Linsley to a three-year contract extension.

Linsley, a fifth-round pick out of Ohio State in 2014, was in the final year of his rookie contract but has now agreed a $25.5m extension which keeps him in Green Bay through 2020.

The deal, which averages $8.5m per season, makes Linsley the fifth highest-paid centre in the NFL behind Brandon Linder ($11.07m), Maurkice Pouncey ($11.05m), Mike Pouncey ($8.97m) and Eric Wood ($8.52m).
