Wide receiver Julio Jones and quarterback Matt Ryan were the only Atlanta Falcons players absent from practice on Tuesday.

Jones missed their session with an ankle injury while Ryan was absent while dealing with a personal matter.

The Falcons face the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC Divisional Playoff game on Saturday and held one of their main practice sessions for that game on Tuesday.

Ryan had not missed a practice session since 2009 according to the local Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but he was at the team's facility earlier in the day before leaving for an appointment - he and wife Sarah are expecting twins in April.

"The only person who will be out today will be Julio," Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said.

"He is as familiar as to how to get back and get ready as any player I've ever been around. He's on the right trajectory and he'll start getting his work tomorrow [Wednesday]."
