Oakland Raiders in talks over sharing home of baseball's San Francisco Giants

The Oakland Raiders could be playing in San Francisco next season as talks are underway over using Oracle Park, according to local media.
NBC Bay Area reported that the Raiders could shortly announce they will play their 2019 schedule at the home of baseball's San Francisco Giants, ahead of their 2020 move to Las Vegas.
The Raiders' lease at the Oakland Coliseum ran out at the end of the 2018 season, with hopes of a year-long extension ending over legal disputes with the City of Oakland.
Oracle Park has hosted football games in the past, albeit not in the NFL, with the California Golden Bears playing their 2011 PAC-12 college season there.
Any decision over the stadium being used by the Raiders has still to be ratified by the 49ers, who now play 40 miles away from the city in Santa Clara, and the NFL.
There has also been opposition from San Francisco politicians to the Raiders using the stadium, and NBC Bay Area reported on Sunday that an announcement could be made later this week.
The NFL needs a decision soon as the 2019 regular season schedule needs to be announced - Oakland are set for two home pre-season dates and seven home games in 2019, with the eighth being played in London.
