Rob Burrow is confident Leeds will be able to cope without their three club legends next season.
The Rhinos completed the treble this year after beating Wigan 22-20 in the Grand Final in October, but the game also marked the end of the Headingley careers of Kevin Sinfield, Kylie Leuluai and Jamie Peacock.
Chief executive Gary Hetherington has brought in the likes of Australian hooker Beau Falloon and prop Keith Galloway, who are both set to feature in the friendly against Wakefield on Boxing Day, and Burrow has been impressed by the new arrivals.
The scrum-half told the Yorkshire Post: "You can't begin to replace the players who have left, but the squad is as strong as I have ever seen it.
"The people Gary has brought in are quality. We are going to be a big pack next year and hopefully that will work for us.
"Morale is as good as ever. Everybody is having a good laugh, but also working hard - which is part and parcel of a successful team, having that togetherness.
"The new players have settled in and that's easy because the lads are so down to earth."
Burrow is looking forward to returning to action against the Wildcats.
"I'm feeling great," he added. "I had a good break and I've come back fresh and feeling good."
