Liverpool's iconic Anfield will host the final of rugby league's Four Nations tournament in November.
The biennial tournament, featuring teams from England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia, will be played across six venues in England.
England's first game, against defending champions New Zealand, will take place on October 30 at the John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield.
The tournament opens two days earlier at the KC Lightstream Stadium, home of Hull KR, where Australia take on Scotland.
England's clash with the Scots forms part of a double-header at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on November 5, and there could be plenty more fireworks when Australia take on their fierce rivals from New Zealand in the second game.
The round-robin stages finish a week later, with New Zealand meeting Scotland at Derwent Park in Workington on November 11 and England taking on Australia at the Olympic Stadium in London on November 13.
The top two teams will contest the final on November 20, when Anfield will host rugby league for the first time since St Helens played Castleford at the home of Liverpool FC in 1997.
England captain Sean O'Loughlin said: "Playing at iconic venues such as the Olympic Stadium and Anfield are one of the reasons we play the game.
"Walking out in front of 45,000 fans in London last year was one of the highlights of 2015 for me and I am sure that playing in front of big home crowds will push the team on to what will hopefully be a successful campaign."
Tournament director Jon Dutton said: "We are delighted with the venues selected for the 2016 Four Nations tournament and we are sure the players and fans of all four countries will have a fantastic time.
"Anfield is an iconic sporting venue and I am certain that all teams will be determined to reach the final to play in front of what will be a very special atmosphere."
