Julian Crabtree moderator 5pts STEVE PRICE: Credit to Wigan, I thought there defence was outstanding tonight. I am super proud of the boys for the effort they showed through the 80 minutes. They could have executed a bit better at times but credit to Wigan. We knew they are a great defensive side and are hard to break down. We made those little opportunities but that final pass didn't happen. We threw everything at them but sometimes it doe snot go your way.

A perfect way for me to finish and I am so happy for my staff and all the players who are leaving. It is the perfect way to finish, I have so much respect for the players. I am a Wigan lad - born and bred and I have lived the dream for many years. It is an outstanding feeling.
Julian Crabtree moderator 5pts WIGAN SKIPPER SEAN O'LOUGHLIN: Both sides tested each others defence out, both teams had it in abundance today, we were lucky enough to get over the line a couple more times - a real tough battle. it is going to be tough without Shaun Wane - he has been fantastic for us and we all owe him a lot. He will be missed.
Julian Crabtree moderator 5pts STEFAN RATCHFORD: It's what you expect against Wigan, it is what they are built on - they refuse to lie down and keep on turning up for one another time and time again. I think they defended really well but I think we created a lot of opportunities but our execution was not good enough. We were right in there, but credit to Wigan they are an unbelievable side and one of the toughest sides to break down. We had a good day from where we were 12 months ago - we have come a long way and I think we can take something out of that, it's just devastating at the moment.

We knew we had to stick in there - we pushed through and took the opportunity when it came for us. Our defence was outstanding and that is what you need in games like this. if you don't have that then you have no chance.
