Seeded pair cruise into Sunday final in Moscow

Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and Russian Maria Kirilenko will meet in the final of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow following easy wins on Saturday. Second seed Azarenka had little trouble in disposing of the eighth-ranked Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain 6-3 6-3, while Kirilenko crushed compatriot Vera Dushevina 6-1 6-1. Azarenka broke Martinez Sanchez in the fifth game before securing the opening set and then broke twice more in the second to seal her first victory over her opponent in three attempts. "Sanchez is such a player that you never know what to expect from her," said Azarenka, who has already booked her place at the season-ending WTA Tour Championship. "I've chosen the right tactics against her today and didn't allow her to change the rhythm or advance to the net to attack as she likes doing. I've fought for every ball and that was the key to my victory." The Belarussian is bidding for her second title of the season following her success in Stanford in July. Kirilenko took the opening set against Dushevina in just 33 minutes with a double break of serve and the world number four repeated the feat in the next, as she wrapped up victory in just 71 minutes.
