British number five to take on Lim in Canadian event

British number five Heather Watson has progressed to her third career final on the ITF circuit at the $50,000 event in Toronto. The former US Open junior champion beat emerging American youngster Sloane Stephens 1-6 6-0 6-4 in a fluctuating semi-final. The 18-year-old from Guernsey will now take on France's Alize Lim in the final and victory would her the biggest title of her career and a first outside Britain - her previous wins coming in Wrexham and Frinton. Meanwhile, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins marked the start of their new doubles partnership by winning the title at the $125,000 Challenger tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan.
