World number eight to play first Davis Cup match since 2009

Andy Roddick and Sam Querrey will spearhead America's team in their Davis Cup clash against Chile next month. Roddick returns to the US team for the first time since competing in a first round clash against Switzerland in 2009. Captain Jim Courier has also selected world number 24 John Isner and doubles specialists Bob and Mike Bryan for the match which will take place on a clay-court at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago on March 4-6. The Americans currently boast a 4-0 record over Chile in the competition, but Courier is taking nothing for granted despite the strength of his side. "All of the US players are committed to the goal of winning the Davis Cup and our first step is to go to battle in Santiago," Courier, who was appointed as captain in October, said in a statement. "We expect a tough weekend of matches with our Chilean counterparts and look forward to the challenge."
