Argentinian Carlos Berlocq upset the seedings in Vina del Mar, Chile as he denied his second-seeded compatriot Juan Ignacio Chela a place in the final of the VTR Open. The world number 66 and seventh seed beat Chela 6-3 4-6 6-0 in the semi-finals to earn a place in the final on Sunday against top seed Juan Monaco, another Argentinian, in Sunday's final.
