Victoria Azarenka cruised into the final of the Madrid Open with a straight sets win over Agnieszka Radwanska on Saturday. The world number one completed a sixth straight win over her Polish rival 6-2 6-4 to book a showdown with Serena Williams. Azarenka began strongly, breaking Radwanska on the world number three's opening service game at the start of a near-perfect first set. The Australian Open champion struck 14 winners before holding to love to take the opener with Radwanska appearing to have little to offer in the way of resistance. The pair traded breaks in the second set before Azarenka won a decisive third break to grab the advantage and close out the match. "I'm really happy," said the 22-year-old Belarusian, who was runner up at the tournament 12 months ago. "All the top players are here and I'm in the final and looking forward to it. "(Radwanska and I) keep meeting each other. I'm glad to win today. The score maybe wasn't so close, but it was a good match." Williams was also a straight sets winner as she saw off Czech qualifier Lucie Hradecka 7-6 (7-5) 6-0. The American was made to battle in the first set, although she didn't face a break point. However, having won the tie-break she swept through the second and ended with a total of 19 winners as she booked her final date with Azarenka.
