Francesca Schiavone warmed up for another tilt at the French Open with victory in the final of the Strasbourg International. The Italian, a winner at Roland Garros in 2010 and runner-up last year, proved too strong for Alize Cornet of France to win 6-4 6-4. Schiavone did not drop a set in the tournament, giving her a timely boost after a slow start to the year. "I'm happy again," she said. "I'm feeling the sensation of fighting and feeling the pain, and enjoying my game again." Schiavone will be seeded 14 at the French Open and meets Japanese veteran Kimiko Date Krumm in the first round.
