Reigning champion to next face compatriot Troicki in last 16
Novak Djokovic overcame losing the first set against the run of play to see off Radek Stepanek 4-6 6-2 6-2 6-2 and reach the fourth round at Wimbledon.
The reigning champion looked to be in a spot of trouble when he was broken in the 10th game of the opener to fall behind to his Czech opponent.
Djokovic had hardly seemed in any trouble until his serve let him down at a crucial time, a wide shot giving Stepanek the most unlikely of breaks after he had spent much of the set struggling to hold his own.
However the Serb - the top seed at this year's tournament - made sure he didn't go the same way as Rafael Nadal, who suffered a stunning defeat to Lukas Rosol late on Thursday evening under the Centre Court roof.
Early break
An early break got him back on track at the start of the second set, with another helping him take it 6-2 to get back on level terms.
The third and fourth were won by the same scoreline as Stepanek, who had been made to change his red trainers before play began as they did not comply with the all-white dress code, had no answer to his rival.
Djokovic sealed his progression with a clinical crosscourt backhand winner, ending the contest after two hours and 50 minutes on Centre.
Next up will be fellow Serbian Viktor Troicki, who knocked out 15th seed Juan Monaco of Argentina 7-5 7-5 6-3.
