Swiss 'fresh and ready to go' ahead of Djokovic clash

Roger Federer claims that to beat Novak Djokovic nowadays requires 'a perfect performance' but admits he is up for the challenge. The two come face to face on Centre Court on Friday, with Federer hoping to end a run of three straight defeats against the top-seeded Serbian. However, the Swiss world No.3 has never played Djokovic on grass before and certainly feels this could be to his advantage as he prepares for his semi-final clash. The 30-year-old Basel-born player said of the task ahead: "You have to prepare yourself well in every department because only a perfect performance will be enough to beat Djokovic. "It is our first grass-court match. We don't know quite what to expect. I feel it's a bit of an even ground. I feel good about the match. I'm excited. "I've been playing well for a year now. I'm happy that going ahead into the semis I'm not tired, I'm not injured, I'm not anything. I'm fresh and ready to go. That's how I want to feel before a semi."
