Roger Federer and Grigor Dimitrov will square off at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday as part of the festivities on World Tennis Day.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion is relishing renewing his rivalry with the talented Bulgarian, who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals last year.

His opponent Dimitrov admits "it won't be easy" taking on arguably the greatest player of all time in such a historic venue.

I just want to go out there and really embrace the whole atmosphere. It's always a pleasure when I play against him even though the last three times I lost. You put that aside and he's really a great guy, on and off the court.

WTA Hall of Famers Monica Seles and Gabriela Sabatini will kick off proceedings - 25 years after their historic five-set match at the WTA Tour Championship.

Seles, now 41, defeated Sabatini, 44, in a gruelling three hours and 47 minutes back in November 1990, but the duo are not expecting such a lengthy showdown on Tuesday.
