Andy Roddick will face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's conqueror Julien Benneteau in the last 16 of the Miami Masters after seeing off Czech qualifier Ivo Minar in straight sets. The American won 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 to set up the tie against the Frenchman, who defeated Australian Open finalist Tsonga 6-3 6-3 in the fourth round. Croatian wildcard Mario Ancic also came through 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 6-1 against 18th seed Juan Monaco. Nikolay Davydenko awaits the Croatian in the next round, while there was also a win for Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic. The unseeded Serb will take on 11th seeded Russian Mikhail Youzhny in the fifth round after knocking out Sweden's Thomas Johansson 6-4 6-4. Youzhny advanced past Spaniard Nicolas Almagro 7-6 (7-4) 3-6 7-6 (8-6) meanwhile, in an epic encounter that required a decisive third set tie break.
