Top seed Rafael Nadal crushed unseeded German Denis Gremelmayr 6-1 6-0 to reach the final of the Barcelona Open. The Spanish World number two needed just 50 minutes to wrap up his 102nd clay court win in his last 103 matches. The German held his opening service game but that was as good as it got as Nadal tore him apart with his best performance of the week. "I didn't know much about him," Nadal admitted. "But I know he reached the semi-finals in Estoril (last month) and he beat some good players to get through today. "I am just very happy that I played to my level and am pleased to be through to the final." Gremelmayr had beaten three seeded players on his way to the semis - James Blake, Dmitry Tursunov and Nicolas Almagro. Nadal will play his fellow Spaniard David Ferrer in Sunday's final after the second seed beat Swiss 14th seed Stanislas Wawrinka 7-6 6-3. Ferrer needed all of 73 minutes to wrap up the win. He will be bidding for his second trophy of the season on Sunday and sixth overall, after winning in Valencia last month. Nadal holds a 5-3 career lead over his compatriot, whom he beat last week in the quarter-finals on the way to a fourth consecutive Monte Carlo title.
