Americans to meet in Sunday's final after both win in straight sets

Sam Querrey and Robby Ginepri both recorded straight sets victories to set up an all-American showdown in the final of the Indianapolis Championships. Querrey reached his second successive ATP Tour final with a 6-4 6-4 win over Canadian Frank Dancevic. The world number 37, whose only title came at Las Vegas last year, will be hoping to go one better than last week in Newport when he lost in the final to Rajeev Ram. "I've had three semi-finals here and now I've finally gone past that," Querrey said after getting beyond the last four in Indianpolis. "I feel great, I've really improved my movement a lot from last season, that is key." Compatriot Ginepri stands in Querrey's way after his 6-4 6-3 success over another American, the big-serving John Isner. The 26-year-old, who was ruled out for three months earlier this year after being hospitalised with appendicitis, previously won the tournament back in 2005. "I had a lot of ups and downs in the past years," Ginepri, who saved all five break points against Isner, said afterwards. "I am still trying to find the form from 2005, but reaching the final here is very encouraging."
