Eight finalists confirmed for London

The countdown to the ATP World Tour Finals is gathering pace - so stick with Sky Sports as the season builds to a thrilling climax. The competition, formerly known as the Tennis Masters Cup, touches down in London on November 22 at the O2 Arena where the eight highest-ranked players in the world will go head-to-head to earn a slice of the $5m prize fund on offer. Following the Paris Masters, the prestigious berths have all been filled with World No 1 - and Wimbledon and French Open champion - Roger Federer leading the way. The Swiss is joined in the tournament by Rafael Nadal, winner of the Australian Open, and Juan Martin del Potro who clinched his first major success in September at the US Open. In addition to the trio, 2008 Tennis Masters Cup champion Novak Djokovic and 2009 Wimbledon semi-finalist Andy Murray have qualified to play at the celebrated event. The sixth spot went to Andy Roddick, however he was forced to pull out in the build-up to the event due to injury and was replaced by Robin Soderling. And following a strong season, last year's finalist Nikolay Davydenko also secured his place in London after reaching the third round of the Paris Masters. The final qualifier was Spain's Fernando Verdasco, who left it right up until the last minute to clinch his spot. Now the question is who will win in London? skysports.com will bring you the latest reports and results as the battle unfolds and, of course, Sky Sports will have every angle covered.
