U.S. Open champion insists there's no place like home

Kim Clijsters insists winning the US Open final is no match for defeating Venus Williams at home in Belgium. Clijsters, who made an explosive comeback to the sport this year with victory at Flushing Meadows, beat the American in a Diamond Games exhibition match in Antwerp to mark her first competitive clash in her native country since returning to the game. The 26-year-old defeated fellow ex-world number one Williams 6-1 7-5 in front of a sell-out 14,000 crowd, and believes nothing compares to the feeling of winning on home soil. "It is always a special feeling to be playing before a packed Sportpaleis (in Antwerp)," said Clijsters. "No US Open final can beat that. It's truly amazing."
