Port Vale have signed Scotland Under-21 winger Matthew Kennedy on loan from Cardiff.
The 21-year-old has signed a month-long deal at Vale Park and, subject to international clearance, will be eligible to play in Tuesday's Sky Bet League One clash with Doncaster.
Kennedy joined Everton from Kilmarnock in 2012 but failed to break into the first team and spent time on loan at Tranmere, MK Dons and Hibernian before moving to Cardiff last summer.
Vale manager Rob Page told the club's website: "I'm delighted to have secured Matty's signature.
"He's a terrific player and one that I believe can really help us. I've tracked him for a while so I'm really pleased to have got him in the building now."
Vale have also signed Jamaican international Theo Robinson from Motherwell.
The 27-year-old striker has joined the Sky Bet League One club on a contract which will run until the end of the season and could make his debut against former side Doncaster on Tuesday evening, subject to international clearance.
