Francisco Junior leaves Everton for Stromsgodset

Francisco Junior has joined Stromsgodset from Everton on a permanent transfer.

Junior played just once for the Toffees since arriving at Goodison Park on a free transfer from Benfica in January 2012.

The Portuguese previously spent two spells on loan with the Norwegian club and played 12 times for Wigan earlier this season, picking up six yellow cards during a three-month stint with the League One club.

The 24-year-old's solitary appearance for Everton's first team was in a League Cup clash against Leeds in September 2012.
