Leicester City extend Marcin Wasilewski contract

Marcin Wasilewski has signed a new one-year contract with Premier League champions Leicester City.

Wasilewski has made over 70 appearances for Leicester since joining the club from Anderlecht in 2013.

The Polish centre-back played four times in the Premier League last season and nine matches in total, including scoring in the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Tottenham in January.

It is the third year running that the 36-year-old has committed to a one-year extension and he will continue to provide back-up to Wes Morgan and Robert Huth.
