Gillingham have signed QPR forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on a season-long loan.

The 25-year-old, who began his career at Arsenal, scored five goals in 15 QPR appearances last season and was also loaned to MK Dons.

"I had a great conversation with the manager; we spoke in great detail about what he wants to do at the club," he told Gillingham's official website. "That was exciting to hear, and it's even more exciting to be a part of that."
