Motherwell have announced the signing of Andy Rose from Coventry City on a one-year contract.
Rose, a 27-year-old central midfielder, is Motherwell's fifth signing of the summer, following Alex Fisher, Gael Bigirimana, Trevor Carson and Craig Tanner into Fir Park.
Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson said: "I am delighted that we have managed to secure the signature of Andy Rose, he is yet another fantastic coup for the club and one of my primary targets.
"Andy not only brings a physical presence to the middle of the park but he brings energy and drive and I am very encouraged by the squad we are building here this summer."
Rose, who spent nearly four years with Seattle Sounders before moving to Coventry, said: "I cannot wait to get going now, it has been going on for a few weeks but I'm delighted to get it over the line and I am looking forward to working with Stephen Robinson.
"The vision he set out was very exciting, with a great group of guys at a good family club with great ambition."
Rose made 21 appearances in League One for Coventry last season, scoring two goals.
As well as confirming the signing of Rose, Robinson suggested that another arrival could be announced soon.
"We have also secured the signing of a left-sided defender who has Championship and League One experience and will do pre-season with us before we announce the signing," Robinson said.
