Swansea City have signed Wales Under-20 defender Cian Harries from Coventry City.

The 20-year-old made 16 appearances for the Sky Blues as they were relegated to League Two last season.

Harries played in the Checkatrade Trophy final at Wembley, before representing Wales at the Toulon tournament.

The defender, who has signed for an undisclosed fee, did not feature in Saturday's opening pre-season friendly against Sutton United or travel with Mark Robins' 24-man pre-season tour squad to Spain.

Harries came through the Sky Blues academy at the Ricoh Arena before making his first team debut on the final day of the 2015/16 season.
