Notts County sign midfielder Liam Walker

Notts County have signed midfielder Liam Walker from Gibraltar-based side Europa FC.

Walker, 29, has agreed an undisclosed deal after appearing in two friendly matches for the Sky Bet League Two club.

"Notts County have secured the signing of Gibraltar international Liam Walker," the club said on their official website.

"The midfielder has been on trial with the club, playing in pre-season friendlies against Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic, and has impressed enough to be offered a contract at Meadow Lane."

Walker, who had a spell with Portsmouth during the 2012/13 season, has made 22 appearances for Gibraltar and scored their first goal in a competitive fixture during a 4-1 defeat to Greece in 2016.
