Blackburn Rovers' Paul Downing joins Doncaster Rovers on loan

Blackburn Rovers defender Paul Downing has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old joined Blackburn from MK Dons on loan in August 2017, before making the deal permanent in January 2018.
Downing started 26 league games last season as Rovers earned promotion from League One, but has started just three games in the Championship this season.
Doncaster will be hoping Downing's promotion experience proves useful as they look to return to the Championship after five seasons away.
The South Yorkshire side are a point off the playoffs in seventh.
Downing has been given permission to play against Oldham Athletic in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie.
