Blackburn will sign Middlesbrough midfielder Harry Chapman on Monday, Sky Sports News understands.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Ewood Park, scoring once in 16 appearances.
However, he has struggled to break into the Boro team since returning to the Riverside, and has not made a single Championship appearance this campaign.
Boro are also interested in signing Southampton striker Sam Gallagher, according to Sky sources.
He spent the 2016/17 season at Blackburn, scoring 12 goals in 47 games.
But the 23-year-old has played just three times for the Saints this campaign, and is yet to start.
