Southampton midfielder Jake Hesketh is set to join League Two side MK Dons on loan until the end of the season, Sky Sports News understands.
The 22-year-old returned to St Mary's earlier this month after spending the first-half of the season at Burton Albion in League One, where he scored three goals in 23 appearances.
Hesketh has experience of the Premier League, although his only two appearances in the top division came back in the 2014/15 season.
He has since played in the Europa League and EFL Cup for the Saints.
MK Dons are sixth in the table, nine points behind leaders Lincoln City.
