Werder Bremen forward Davie Selke says he is "100%" committed to the Bundesliga club, despite speculation linking him with a move away this summer.

The 19-year-old shone as Germany clinched the European Under-19 Championship in Hungary on Thursday, scoring in every game but the final.

His stock has been rising as a result of the six goals he scored in Hungary, although he will commence pre-season training for Werder after the weekend fully expecting to stay with them this season.

"I'm going to fly back to Bremen now and talk with the bosses to see where things go from here, and then I am 100% certain I will continue with Werder," he told Sport1.de.

"We're delighted to have won a second, albeit smaller title for Germany this summer. That is sensational."

Selke has appeared only three times for Bremen, although he can expect to add to that this season.
