Newport County sign Marlon Jackson

Newport have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of striker Marlon Jackson.

The 25-year-old has impressed on trial at the Sky Bet League Two club during pre-season, scoring four goals, and earned a one-year deal.

"I'm delighted to get everything signed and I am happy to be a Newport player for the season ahead," Jackson told County's official website.

"I have enjoyed working with the players here during pre-season. The players are all working hard and everyone is pulling in the right direction."

Manager Warren Feeney added: "I have been impressed with what we have seen of Marlon during pre-season.
