    Verdict

Mahari has his first run for Kerry Lee but won four times for Andre Fabre on the Flat in France and is worth a second look. Gris De Pron has won at Hereford and Market Rasen this year but has a double penalty to carry. RAMONEX beat a good yardstick at Perth and should go well under a penalty. He gets the nod as the jury is out on Whatmore, who ran out at Exeter after finishing second at Leicester. Juste Pour Nous was third at Kempton on his hurdling debut but was only a plater on the level.
