Verdict

This is a hugely competitive affair for the time of year and easy Newton Abbot winner Southfield Vic may be vulnerable over a shorter trip off a 6lb higher mark. Mustmeetalady was always going well when scoring at Haydock but is another being asked to improve on that effort over a shorter distance. Virgilio is still unexposed and has been placed twice over this trip, though has done all of his winning over shorter. Indian Temple will have his stamina to prove while According To Harry and Fact Of The Matter step up in class but Al Co won this last year and is still capable on his day and Call Me Vic likes it here. Katy Price has done well with MINELLACELEBRATION and the course winner is still on an upward curve. He could complete the hat-trick with everything apparently in his favour again.
